Immigration law provides for roughly 50 different reasons an immigrant may be found inadmissable to legally enter into the United States. To combat this problem for future lawful residents and citizens of America the law provides that a waiver may be able to offer relief. Not all immigration violations are waivable but many can be depending on the circumstances.
Because of various reasons and the complexity of the law, waivers of inadmissability are common occurrence in immigration processing. Until several years ago, waivers were generally easily grantable depending on the location the immigrant was processing. Now, generally, a waiver and its supplement package will take at least 40 hours to adequately prepare a waiver. At Feltman Law Firm most waivers have more than doubled the 40 hour mark.

Expenses
As mentioned above roughly 40 - 90 hours are spent on a waiver package at Feltman Law Firm as a team depending on its complexity. Because the labor is very intensive in preparing these waiver packages the cost is higher than some locations that may prepare a waiver. However, MIchael Feltman wants to provide a cost effectie means for his clients to be able to have a quality produced waiver, which is generally not done by most other immigration attorneys. Michael permits and prefers his waiver clients to become his temporary legal assistants in helping to prepare their waiver and guide them if clients desire to save money by doing much of the leg work themselves, with Michael guiding them along the way.
Michael Feltman places high importance on family unity and understands that many families cannot afford to pay extreme expenses for a waiver package. Feltman Law Firm works with families and permits payments of installments. In an effort to assist those families with financial difficulties he may prepare a reduced fee waiver if circumstances present themselves.
The price quote for the waiver is a base cost and does not include the waiver fee paid to the government nor other fees sometimes associated with preparing the packages such as translations, mailing costs and special copy fees for color photos. These types of fees are roughly charged "at-cost" of Feltman Law Firm to the client.
